Digital Imaging Services
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine provides a number of digital imaging services for
research and teaching purposes.
Whole Slide Imaging
High-resolution digital scan of the entire tissue area of a 1x3 or 2x3 glass slide. Scans
up to 40x magnification. The slide viewer provides panning and magnification adjustment.
Film Slide (Kodachrome) Scanning
Digital scan of 2x2 film slides. We can provide image sizes up to 8000x8000 pixels.
