Financial Support Information
It is the intention of the program that students receive stipend support, if possible, during their entire graduate study, in the form of a research assistantship, project assistantship, fellowship or training grant position, provided either by the department, their major professor’s research funds, or other campus sources. For the 2008-2009 school year, the stipend rate for graduate students in the Cellular and Molecular Pathology Graduate Program is $23,000 plus medical benefits. In addition, assistantship recipients qualify for full remission of their nonresident and resident tuition. Assistantships also allow for subsidized enrollment in the Graduate Assistant Health Insurance program.
