The major research interest of this laboratory is to study
the pathogenic mechanism underlying Alzheimer’s disease,
to look for the biomarkers for the early AD diagnosis
and to search for the potential therapeutics that can stop
or delay the pathogenic process at the early stage of AD development.

The research projects in this laboratory are currently funded by
NIH/NIA, Alzheimer Association, and
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UW-Madison
